Famous Last Words

Wouldn't you know it? We were hit by a monsoon storm fifteen minutes after I hit the publish post button last night. It moved through quickly but it was very windy and wet and we did lose power for a minute or two. Luckily, we got none of the damaging hail that the weather forecasters were predicting. That cell passed southeast of us.

This was one of those days that I really wish I'd stayed in bed. Besides walking into corners, door jambs, car doors, etc., I spilled water all over the kitchen counters while I was making my coffee. Then said coffee fell off the roof of the car when I closed the rear door and splashed all over my shoes. I forgot my badge, and well you get the picture.

Lots of moving related stuff going on. We have one of our two realtors coming out tomorrow for the inital market assessment and the movers are coming out to survey all the stuff we want them to move. We finished going through most of the rest of the house over the weekend and have more piles to donate to St. Vincent de Paul and lots of books/CDs going to VSNA.
