Fixing a Design Flaw

When we bought our house, we had one concern about the master bathroom - it was carpeted all the way to the shower. Given Oregon's moist climate, that was a rather silly thing to do, don't you think? But the rest of the house's pros outweighed that con so we made an offer. We can always go back and fix it easily enough.

Fast forward two years and our fears came true. We had a rather icky mold problem where the carpet met the shower and the time had come to redesign the bathroom floor. Out went the carpet and in went some slate green ceramic tile. We love the new look...now we just need new bath mats.
