Fair Isle Is Fun

I'm furiously knitting away on Chad's pirate hat. He's running the Shamrock 15K this weekend and since it will most likely be in the high 20's/low 30's, a new chapeau is in order. Even better if it matches Nathan's. And I do have to admit, fair isle is fun. I'm still slow as ever knitting Continental but it's going....

And I've also finished Faina. I couldn't sleep this morning so I got up and steam blocked her. My invention worked out. I envisioned a shaped cabled tunic and through the wonders of arithmetic and a bit of pattern massaging, I got a lovely shaped cabled tunic.
