Dear Nathan
While I applaud and encourage your wonderful inquisitiveness, I'd like to make one small comment regarding your methods. In general, exploratory excursions into your own orifices using items found in your carseat are not recommended (and may I add a rather extreme tactic to get out of taking your nap). The end result tends to involve things like pain, discomfort, and stress for all parties involved.
Love,
Mom
It's never a good thing when you hear frantic screaming and crying from the backseat. When the crying is accompanied by, "Yayal, nose! Yayal, nose," realization sets in. Your darling toddler just stuck a cheerio so far up his nose that you could feel it just under his eye. After a few minutes of trying to gently squeeze it out, you abandon all hope, toss him into his car seat and make haste for the nearest ER. Within a half mile, your child lets loose a sneeze so huge that the humidity in the car changed and among the resulting detritus was that offending piece of cereal. Crisis averted. Let's hope he doesn't try this again.

one can hope.
Wait until he swallows something and the doctor calmly tells you it will pass...watch for it.
