Outsmarting A Toddler

So short of duct taping the diaper together, how does one prevent a toddler from taking off his PJs and ripping his diaper off while he sleeps leaving a damp, icky mess for Mom & Dad to clean up the next morning? Why, putting his PJs on backwards, of course. Yes, it looks like a strait jacket but it works.....for now. Judging from past history, he's only a step behind in cleverness and we'll be resorting to duct tape in the near future.
