Jumbled Thoughts

No specific topics to blog about today but we were again visited by the Mail Faeries, this time bearing gifts from Leah & Steven and the spoils of my Amazon excursion (and other things as well but this elf can't say what).

First, the cutest stuffed snowman pattern and yarn (yummy mohair and alpaca) from Leah. Thanks for adding to my growing list of projects (:-p) but I love the pattern and I can tell the yarn will feel awesome to knit.

Next, comes the SNB Nation and Last Minute Knitted Gifts books. I can't wait to thumb through them and dream of more things to add to my queue. And finally the ROTK Extended Edition. A full 8 hours before its official release. Guess what Chad & I are doing tonight.

And finally I'm showcasing one of the goodies I picked up at the farmer's market the other day. It's not quite as cool as Steph's Fibonacci Romanesco, but it's rare that you see brussels sprouts still on their stalk these days. We shredded, sauteed, and savored with grilled pork chops.
