Gifties!

A birthday vacation sure gave me a lot of blog fodder for this week. The Birthday Faeries visited several times and brought me these....



From Mom & Dad...a beautiful wintery floral arrangement. They were none the worse for wear from sitting on the front porch for a few days. They are now gracing our mantle.
From Bill & Marcia...a gift card to Powell's Bookstore. I need to take a day sometime and get lost in the City of Books.
From Mike...a gift card to Amazon which went towards the new Stitch & Bitch Nation, Last Minute Knitted Gifts, and the extended edition of Return of the Kings.
From Ang & Bob...an Origins package filled with yummy ginger cream minis and a ball of fuzzy, shimmery royal blue novelty yarn. I'm picturing a skinny scarf in extended garter stitch.
From Amy & Mark...an awesome felted bag lined with sushi fabric and graced with one of Amy's crafty mini sushi creations and The Knitter's Handy Book of Sweater Patterns. I'm not sure what you meant by laughing at the bag, girl. I love it and it's perfect for my knitty notions. Everyone needs to visit her at amyville....
From Steph...a couple of her super cool DPN pouches. My needles will be styling now.
And from Chad, Nathan, and Hobey...a ball winder. Exactly what I asked for. No more cramping my wrist winding center pull balls on empty toilet paper rolls.
