A Daddy's Adventure

Why celebrate just one day when you can celebrate a whole weekend? In typical fashion, we decided to take a short road trip to celebrate Father's Day. Hophead that he is, Chad discovered that the Washington Brewfest is held every Father's Day weekend in Kenmore, WA so after opening his gifts on Saturday morning (a grain mill from me and matching Daddy & Son swim trunks from Nathan), we all piled into the car for the three hour jaunt to Seattle.
Beautiful weather in Seattle! We spent Saturday afternoon lounging in St. Edward State Park enjoying some excellent microbrews and capped off the day with some wonderful Pacific Northwest seafood at Bell Street Diner before heading back to our hotel in Bothell.
It wouldn't be a trip to Seattle without visiting IKEA where we picked up some deck chairs for our front porch and Pike Place Market where we enjoyed more seafodd before heading back to Portland.
Happy Father's Day to Daddies everywhere!

Looks like a great Father's Day celebration. Matching bathing suits to sit by the pool and drink the new microbrew - how much better can life get? lol.
Love,
Mike
