Coco Loco
Your eyes don't deceive you. That really is an empty coconut shell. We found these....
at Trader Joe's. Along with lemon and orange sorbets in hollowed out lemons and oranges. Only the coconut and lemon versions managed to make that quantum leap into the cart and consequently home with us.
It was a pretty low-key weekend all around. We got some much needed rain which unfortunately caused us to cancel our backyard landscaping plans. We went shopping and out for dim sum instead where we were again reminded that Nathan is definitely our kid (and Aunt Leah's nephew)...he liked the beef tripe with jalapeno & ginger. So not only is he a macaroni & cheese snob, a stinky cheese lover, and a thai curry fiend...he likes tripe of all things. What's next? Chicken feet? Maybe when he's old enough to not swallow the bones.....
Nathan says.....
"Hey. The Scots may be on to something with their kilts! If we leave all my leg snaps unsnapped, it's very liberating."
I do have knitting news this weekend but just thinking about it aggravates me. I have to reknit the second half of Mystery Project #3. It came out of the finishing queue rather sad looking. Grumble, grumble....
