Tiptoeing

I spent most of the day dozing on the couch due to a sore throat and sinus headache from h-e-double hockey sticks. In between my catnaps, I dialed into work (boo) and got a chance to start my next project (yay), father & son socks!



The yarn I'm using is Sock It To Me Puzzle from elann. It's really cool self-striping yarn I picked up last year while I was frantically stash building. The pattern is Wendy's generic toe-up pattern and I love it already.

I can also finally unveil Mystery Project #1.



It is an airy scarf made out of Rowan Kidsilk Haze. The lucky recipient of the scarf as well as a bottle of Hip Chicks Do Wine Bad Girl Blanc was Angela, one of the hippest chicks we know. She recently celebrated a birthday. And Ang, not only is the label way cool, the wine's pretty good as well!
