Peter, Peter, Pumpkin Eater

We went to the pumpkin patch today to find our Halloween pumpkins. We had a good time tromping through the mud looking for the perfect Samhain squash. We followed up our successful search with a hayride and an elephant ear.

On the knitting front, I got tired of wrestling with my DPNs on the Christmas stocking so I picked up a small circular and it's going much faster except for the rounds where I practice knitting Continental-style. Note to self: ask Leah to teach me how to purl Continental-style (I can't seem to wrap my brain around how that's supposed to work). Yes I know my gauge differs between the two methods but the stocking will be felted after all.

ooh! continental style? I've finally figured out how to hold the yarn so I don't have to constantly pick it up (I don't know when this happened - I just realized I was doing it several weeks ago)...

So. Dija get any pumkins for eatin' or were they all for carving?
