Tour de Portland

We joined 18,000 other people in the Providence Portland Bridge Pedal today. We weren't ambitious enough to take on the 38-mile Ten Bridge route but we biked over eight of Portland's bridges in just over 3 hours, a total of 24 miles. It was the first time we've ever ridden on freeways (closed, of course) on our bikes.

They always say traffic would be better if everyone biked to work but the throng crawling over the Marquam Bridge (normally I-405) this morning challenges that claim!
