Knit-A-Thon

Kind of. I'm no Knitting Olympian (mostly because I don't think I can be faithful to one project for the duration of the Games) but I did make one pledge....to finish the projects I currently have on my needles before I cast on for the next one.

I hear you naysayers. You're thinking, "Yeah right. When have I heard that before?" So far I'm on track.

Take Kinsale....all pieces knit, buttons purchased, just waiting to be stitched together.

My Rebecca Cardi waiting in the wings for her ties. My Nothin But A Tee? Frogged. I didn't like how the fabric was turning out so I decided to rip and begin anew on larger needles. I haven't re-cast on for it so I'm considering it done, for now....

And finally, Faina. A shaped cabled tunic that has been stewing about in my head forever. It's a variation on the hourglass sweater from Last Minute Knitted Gifts and so far I'm loving how she's turning out.
