Holi-Daze
Today, like New Year's Day, is a day for vegging out and recovering from the excitement of the day before. And no, we did not go shopping. Santa was good to us this year bringing a tricycle, bags, ducks, clothes, food, exclusive (not yet released) amyville olives, and a myriad of other things. It was a pretty low-key day hanging around the house and watching Christmas movies before dinner which was a small standing rib roast, yorkshire pudding, asparagus, mushrooms, and creme brulee for dessert. It was the first time we've ever had yorkshire pudding and I can't say that we're in any hurry to have it again but I can cross another "Food That Fascinates Me" off the list.
And now, I present the 2004 Mystery Project Parade!
It was the year of the bags. I also knit some baby hats & mittens, a cabled hat for my mom, and a two-color keyhole scarf (the center picture. I forgot to take a proper picture before I wrapped it up).
The mystery slate for 2004 is wiped clean and can begin anew in 2005.
